The “YES!” Movement-What it’s really all about

One week from this coming Saturday(March 3rd, that is), will mark the fourth anniversary of the “YES!” movement. Of course, there are those who are perverting the “YES!” movement by calling it the “YEP!” movement, but yours truly knows first hand what the “YES!” movement is really all about. The “YES!” movement is a bonafide determination of those who actually want to do the job, without office politics or other BS. Case in point: The Authority telling the people around them that their actions are “best for business”, when it’s actually best for The Authority, mainly they really believe that they can get more done with little if any effort whatsoever. As a veteran of retail (nearly 30 years, to be exact), I can tell you from personal experience that it doesn’t work, it never has. Even worse, the so-called “powers that be” have a major- league mad on with those that don’t agree with their way of thinking. At first, The Authority seemed content to call those that don’t agree with their way of thinking “narcissistic, apathetic, lazy, weak-minded wastes of life” with no ambition. It seems like some people are adopting this mindset, at least the first part, anyway. Part two is a bit tricky. Their IQ(Impatience Quotient, the other IQ) rivals that of a European import, going from 0 to 60 in 10 seconds or less, telling those to be like World Wrestling Entertainment and get the “F” out. There aren’t many takers. So the mad-on and the hissy fits get more intense and mean-spirited. It’s kind of fun really, watching the so-called “authority” figures go off like an out of control Scud missile. As long as they don’t hurt anybody emotionally, everything’s kosher.
